What are the safety-enhancing features of this craft?The Citation Mustang has an impeccable safety record. It is approved to fly into icing conditions and features enhanced avionics, is approved for single-pilot operation, and is powered by twin turbofans, making it a twin engine aircraft. While extremely unlikely that this would ever happen, the plane can fly on a single engine. All of our aircraft are equipped with state-of-the-art traffic and weather detection systems, as well as a host of other tools that enhance the safety of our flights. Oftentimes, our systems are even more robust than those aboard commercial airliners, with our information coming from a combination of satellite, ground and onboard sources.
